I have been very quiet of late, studying hard and doing my best not to fail every class I opted in to. That said, the lack of social interaction is starting to get to me. Where is everyone? And who would be interested in something of a social gathering?

So the party was a delight, and I intend to have more such soirees in the future. And Jeremie, we must meet up again, sometime soon.
On to less entertaining topics - it's been what, three days of classes, and I have a killer Transfiguration essay to churn out. And I have to be honest. Transfiguration isn't my strongest subject. Does anyone out there think they can help me?
I can't wait until the first Beauxcoteau weekend.

Okay, everybody, the die has been cast, the oracle has been consulted, the fat lady is waiting in the wings, ready to sing about the decision I have made - this year's "back to school" party will be organized by none other than moi.
I need someone who can help with the music, otherwise I think I'm fully capable of putting together some sort of shindig. For those interested, of course.
There will be the usual security measures. Anyone wanting to go, comment here for the location and password to get past the secrecy wards. As I fully intend the contraband beverages to be flowing, we simply can't be too careful.

I am so glad that the bed assignments worked in my favor this year. Not only did I not have to deal with the top bunk, but neither did Cyprien, which is always a bonus. So instead of two room mates to deal with every time I want to see him, there's only the one. The only problem is, is that his one room mate is a prefect. Sucks to be Cyprien this year, I suppose. But, there again, so am I, and I'm in a worse position because said prefect sharing my room happens to be my cousin. Ugh.
Well, perhaps I can bribe her with wine. We've got a good Cabernet going this year, according to Father.

To everyone on the Quidditch teams, how do you think the season is going? I'm wondering whether or not to bother coming to the next game. I'm not even sure who is playing, to be honest!
